BLADENBORO, N.C. – The Dove Brothers continue their winning streak at Southern Gospel radio with the group’s latest single “You Don’t Know God’s Love”.

The hit single logged its sixth week in the #1 spot on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart – becoming the chart’s longest running #1 song of the year. In addition, the song is currently ranked #1 on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 40 Fan Chart for a second consecutive week.

The song has also earned Top 10 status on other industry standard charts such as the Singing News Top 80, Gospel Music News Top 100, and Top 20 on PowerSource Magazine Southern Gospel Top 100.

McCray Dove of the Dove Brothers said, “We are very appreciative of Southern Gospel radio and the support they have shown us over the last couple of years. We look forward to many more great years and providing Southern Gospel radio with many more great songs.”

“You Don’t Know God’s Love” is the debut single from the group’s critically acclaimed Life recording. The song is a reworking of the Ronnie Milsap favorite “You Don’t Know My Love” to showcase a message of Christ’s love to His children.

The Dove Brothers are releasing a follow-up single to “You Don’t Know God’s Love” this month. The new song, “You Would Think He Would Learn”, was written by McCray Dove.

The Dove Brothers were honored with three SGN Music Awards this year. The popular quartet took home two of the three biggest awards of the evening – Song of the Year (for the #1 song “I Can Pray”) and 2008 Pacesetter which honors artists, individuals, companies, etc. that raise the standard in the industry in some way. In addition, the Dove Brothers were awarded Traditional Southern Song of the Year (also for “I Can Pray”).

Those three awards came on the heals of the Dove Brothers’ win as Favorite Male Quartet at the 2008 SGM FanFair Awards earlier in April. The group was also one of the featured honorees at the 2008 Harmony Honors which took place earlier in the month as well.
