--Canaanrecords.com , iTunes.com and SoGospelNews.com to Carry Exclusive Interviews and Music—

NASHVILLE, Tenn (5/27/08) Canaan Records is pleased to announce the release of a brand new series of Podcasts, which is defined by Wikipedia.com as a digital-media file distributed over the internet for playback. Fans can enjoy exclusive interviews and brand new songs from their favorite Canaan artists by logging on to http://www.canaanrecords.com , http://www.itunes.com or http://www.sogospelnews.com starting June 2nd. The 5 minute, bi-weekly Podcasts can be downloaded to your computer or MP3 player, as well as being burned to a compact disc. The Mike LeFevre Quartet, Mike & Kelly Bowling and Kim Hopper are the first artists to be featured. Each speaks about their brand new Canaan releases, which hit stores on August 12th, and includes stories behind the songs. All twelve Podcasts are hosted by Les Butler of the Singing News Magazine and Solid Gospel Radio Network.

Canaan Records will also be hosting a contest to celebrate the Podcasts and project releases. On August 12th Canaan Records along with the National Quartet Convention will award a grand prize package to one winner. By signing up for Canaan's email list at http://www.canaanrecords.com listeners will automatically be registered for the giveaway. As an added bonus, Canaan Records will send all registrants a brand new song from Mike LeFevre Quartet’s brand new project Nothin’ But Good.
