Owensboro, KY - The Childress Family of Madisonville, KY will be featured at Gospel on the River, a part of Owensboro's Friday After 5, on Friday, May 23.

Friday After 5 is a 16-week series of free outdoor concerts held on the Owensboro riverfront. Created in 1996, this summer-long festival includes live music of several different genres, interactive family events and other entertainment. The gospel performances will be held inside Cannon Hall at the RiverPark Center and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Central time. Additional gospel artists performing throughout the series include The Crossmen, Blackwood Gospel Quartet, The Conquerors Quartet, His Praise and The Southlanders.
