NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Hephzibah Children’s Home will be hosting the 2008 Great Smoky Mountains Gathering this coming April. Some have called it one of the best-kept secrets in Gospel music!

The Great Smoky Mountains Gathering is an event filled with heartwarming inspiration, barrels of fun, and meeting Christian friends from across North America in an atmosphere of familiar songs, the finest in southern gospel and traditional music, and preaching that’s true to the Word of God.

This year’s event will take place April 21-25, 2008 and will be held at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

This year’s event promises to feature performances from Triumphant Quartet, The Webbs (formerly the Rick Webb Trio), and Allison Durham Speer as well as comedians Tim Lovelace and David Duncan. Jerry Brecheisen will be speaking during the event as well.

For more information on the event as well as registration details, visit http://www.hephzibahgathering.com or call (478) 477-3383, ext. 114.

This event is sponsored by the Hephzibah Children’s Home. In the spirit of the Good Samaritan, Hephzibah Children's Home, a subsidiary corporation of The Wesleyan Church, has been there for abused and neglected children since 1900. Located in Macon, Georgia, its mission is to provide a Christ-centered, safe, and wholesome environment for at-risk children and young people.

HCH ministries include residential group homes for children ages 6-18, The Elizabeth Home maternity home for resident single girls up to age 22, a Teen-Parent Home for single moms and their babies, recreational center, and Bethlehem Stables pet center.
