Daniel Studer, keyboardist for The Kellys of Lawrenceburg, TN, unexpectedly passed away earlier this week.

"Daniel was a wonderful, loving person who was a great asset to The Kellys, as a friend, a brother in Christ, a musician and a singer. His love of southern gospel music was evidenced in his dedication to bringing souls to Christ through his many talents. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family in this difficult time and our prayers are with them. Daniel will be greatly missed, but we know without a doubt that he is now making beautiful music for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and waiting for us to join him in Heaven," stated a spokesman for The Kellys.

Tenative arrangements include visitation and viewing at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN from 3 - 8 PM Thursday, Dec. 20 and Friday, Dec. 21 with funeral services in Dunlap, TN at 3 PM Sunday Dec. 23. To verify the final arrangements please call the funeral home at 615-331-1952

Daniel was one of the most generous, kindest gentlemen anyone could have the privilege of being acquainted with. He loved people; he loved gospel music, and he sure loved his savior Jesus Christ.

I am proud to have known him as a genuine friend. He will be greatly missed.

Southern Gospel music has lost a tremendous talent who never really had his chance to shine. Daniel was a loving friend for many years and has always been there to cheer me on in the good times and pick up the pieces in the bad times.

If you didn't know Daniel, you missed a rare jewel. Those of us who knew him have lost a priceless treasure.

Heaven is so much sweeter with him there.

Does anyone know what happened? I am so shocked by this news.

Daniel was one of the kindest, most loving and sincere people I have ever known. This has been so devastating. He was always there when I needed someone to talk to about anything and he always made me feel better. I am having a really hard time accepting the fact that he's gone, but I know without a doubt, I'll see him again somedays. Jason, in answer to your question about what happened, Daniel had a ruptured appendix while at home.

I just googled Daniel to try to find him. I'm in shock. I just loved that boy so much. He could make any story a comedy routine. I had hopes of catching up with him. We all have to cross over, so I'm proud for Daniel that' he's done it. We love you, and can't wait to see you again.
