LEXINGTON, KY - Southern Gospel recording artist Kenny Bishop will be the featured artist on The Gospel Greats radio program. The award winning show is set to air the weekend of May 5th.

"As a teenager, I remember asking my boss at the local fast food restaurant where I worked if he would schedule me for the earliest shift on Saturday mornings so I could get home in time to listen to The Gospel Greats program that afternoon," Kenny said. "I'd hear Paul chatting with my heroes and just dream of the day I'd have a chance to talk to him myself. I don't know how many times I've had the privilege now, but every one of them is a dream come true for me."

The most recent broadcast will feature several songs from Kenny's latest recording on Daywind Records. Kenny will share thoughts about the purpose, motivation and intention of the project. Listeners will also learn how they can hear a special expanded interview with Kenny beyond the regular broadcast.

"This record is very singularly focused," Kenny said. "I was thrilled to be able to sit down with such a professional and talk about it. We felt the sweetness of God's touch while we visited, and kept on recording."

"For well over twenty years we've considered Kenny a good friend and have enjoyed visiting with him (on air and off) whenever possible," host Paul Heil said. "His recent experiences have proven to him once again that God's grace is sufficient, and that's a great reminder for us all. Please listen as he talks about his ever-growing understanding of grace and how it can impact your life and the life of every Christian."

The Gospel Greats program has been on the air for over twenty-five years. The show is currently heard on more than 200 radio stations across the United States and Canada, and is heard around the world on the Internet and on satellite radio. The weekly, two-hour show is produced in Lancaster, PA.

Paul, I listen to the Gospel Greats on WALI Radio 93.7 FM, in Walterboro,S>C> Your ssow use to come on every Sunday from 6 am- 8am, and now it does not come on. Do you know what happened. Thanks. Ernest A. Canaday
