Chattanooga, TN – Gospel Music recording artist Young Harmony and The Rick Hendrix Company are excited to announce the group’s nomination for three Dove Awards. Young Harmony’s latest recorded project, titled “Strength,” was nominated in the category of Southern Gospel Album Of The Year. The group’s song “God’s Still God” was nominated for Southern Gospel Recorded Song Of The Year and Song Of The Year. Song of the Year is the coveted annual award for the best song in the entire Christian music industry. Its been nearly 20 years since a Southern Gospel artist has won the Song of the year award. The song “Gods Still God was written by group member Johnathan Bond and was recorded on the “Strength” project.

“We are very surprised at this nomination,” stated Johnathan Bond of Young Harmony. “A lot of work goes into a recorded project like this and we must thank Dave Moody and Donna Beauvais, who produced the project for their work and support. Also, the entire staff of Lamon Records and Rick Hendrix Company deserves major recognition for their marketing and promotional support of this album. We are truly honored and blessed to be nominated for such a prestigious award.”

Young Harmony is also celebrating a brand new radio single. Be listening for “I Need Your Grace,” also written by Johnathan Bond, on a radio station near you!

The Dove Awards have been presented annually by the Gospel Music Association for 37 years and are amongst the most prestigious awards given in Gospel Music. The Dove Awards will be presented on April 25, 2007 at the Grand OLE Opry House in Nashville, TN and will be hosted Brian Littrell, Natalie Grant and Donnie McClurkin.

Young Harmony was formed in 1995 by husband and wife team Johnathan and Ginger Bond. Johnathan and Ginger make their home in Chattanooga, TN. They are a full time Gospel artist and travel across the United States with their band performing in various concert venues and churches.
