NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame inductees The Imperials will be a featured performer on Cornerstone TeleVision’s “Now, More Than Ever” annual telethon tonight, January 29, 2007. The show will air live and begin at 7:00 p.m. and will run until 11:00 p.m EST.

“We are very honored to be participating in this event and humbled that they asked us to participate,” mentioned Shannon Smith of The Imperials. “We are looking forward to being there this evening.”

Also appearing with The Imperials is Gospel superstar and member of the Kurt Carr Singers Yvette Williams and Rev. Chris Hill, youth pastor for T.D. Jakes.

Tomorrow, the popular group will be stopping in Ashland, Kentucky to film an episode of the “Gospel Music Showcase”. The show will air in the near future on the Daystar Television Network. It is a regular program on Saturday evenings on the network.

Also this week, The Imperials will be stopping off at the Christian Booksellers Association Advance 2007 Show at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana this coming Thursday, February 1, 2007. The group will be appearing at the Pathway Press booth (#1607) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Jeremie Hudson of The Imperials said, “We are extremely thankful to God for these opportunities. He has opened so many doors lately, and we know that he has the future of this ministry in the palm of His hand.”

Be sure and listen for The Imperials’ first single in over five years at Southern Gospel and Inspirational radio all across the country. “Arise My Love” can be found on the group’s new self-titled release, which is available now through the group’s ministry. The album will be released nationally through Lamon Records later this year.
