About This Article

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Allen Smith of SGN Scoops Magazine along with Amy Marie Unthank and Chris D. Unthank of SSE Group have renewed the promotional agreement between the two companies for publicity and web development specifically for the Diamond Awards. Through this agreement, the Diamond Awards will continue to receive unlimited access to all media outlets serviced by Southern Spin Entertainment, in addition to advertising and marketing potential through this exclusive partnership.

A website pertaining only to the Diamond Awards will also continue to be designed and maintained by SSE Design Group.

The Diamond Awards were transferred over to the SGN Scoops Magazine four years ago after the original home for the awards, the Gospel Voice Magazine, folded. The Diamond Awards are a fan based award that allows the fans to choose the nominees as well as the winners each year. The awards show is based during the National Quartet Convention every September.

Southern Spin Entertainment is one of four divisions of the conglomerate SSE Group. Southern Spin Entertainment focuses on publicity and marketing for Southern and Country Gospel artists. The company currently represents over 40 artists, companies, and organizations in the Gospel music community – including Gold City, Rick Webb Trio, The Imperials, SouthernGospelNews.com, the Dove Brothers Quartet, The Glovers, Jonathan White, Embrace, Sondra Burnett, Ed Crawford & the Mystery Men Quartet, HisSong, Amazed, The Pathfinders, Chapter IV, Sharron Kay King, and many more.

“The votes that we had come in this year for the Diamond Awards nearly doubled compared to last year, and I attribute that to the fact that we had SSE pushing the awards this year,” mentioned Allen Smith, owner of SGN Scoops Magazine. “I anticipate even greater things with this year’s partnership!”

“Allen is one of the most genuine and supportive men in this industry,” mentioned Amy Marie Unthank. “We are excited to work with Allen and the SGN Scoops’ Diamond Awards for another year!”

More information concerning the 2007 SGN Scoops’ Diamond Awards and awards program will be announced shortly.
