Whitesburg, GA: Lamp Music Group of Whitesburg, GA recently took delivery of a new 7 foot Yamaha grand piano to be used in their industry acclaimed recording facility.

"I've always been a fan of Yamaha grands," says Lamp President and award winning producer Mike Pillow. He continues, "When our recording facility was chosen directly from the Japanese headquarters of Yamaha to be endorsed, we were really humbled. Lamp is celebrating 20 years of full time recording Christian music and it's very encouraging to know that our music is making an impact all over the world!"

The new piano is currently adjusting to the climate of Lamp Studio A and will be ready for tracking starting with next weeks busy tracking sessions.

As a leader in the Southern Gospel genre Lamp has become the recording home for many of Gospel Music's finest and most recognizable artists. Lamp music productions show up every month on the most esteemed music charts within the industry including: The Singing News Top 80 , US Gospel News Top 100 and many others.

Other studio assets include: 2 of the largest PRO-Tools HD3 Accel recording systems in the industry, the PRO-Tools Recording console, large recording complex, and full time staff. All these features combined together with the addition of new Yamaha 7 foot Grand will help ensure that Lamp will continue to be a leader in Christian music for a long time to come!
