About This Article

Alexandria, IN - Multi-talented quartet, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound recently received notification that the quartet’s debut video release, which soared to the top of Billboard Magazine’s Music Video Chart, debuting at #3, has achieved Gold sales status by RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). This honor commemorates the sale of more than 50,000 units. (At press time, DVD sales have exceeded 72,000.) The DVD is available through the Gaither Gospel Series. Bill Gaither, President of Gaither Music Group, recently presented Ernie Haase & Signature Sound with plaques, celebrating this accomplishment. “I can't tell you how excited I am for these young guys to be jumping off the gate so quickly,” Gaither stated. “I'm very proud of them." In addition to the video achieving Gold sales status, the group’s self-titled debut CD currently is boasting sales in excess of 85,000 units, with combined DVD and CD sales exceeding 150,000.

On the heels of the success of their debut video, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will record a brand new live concert video in Paducah, KY, at the Carson Four Rivers Center on August 5. The quartet will share many of their popular hits, as well as several brand new songs before the sold-out crowd. The video is expected to be released in early 2007.
