Beckie Simmons has confirmed today that Burman Porter has been officially hired as the new bass singer for Palmetto State Quartet. Porter was most recently with the Blackwood Quartet but gained his notoriety while singing with the Dove Brothers Quartet. Porter fills the position left vacant by Aaron McCune when he left recently to join Gold City.

Congratulation Burman and PSQ. I think it will be a great fit. PSQ is sounding better than ever.
I look forward to hearing Palmetto State in concert and wish Tex the best with Gold City.

Congratulations to Burman Porter. PSQ has gained the best bass singer in the industry...bar-none! His performance is thrilling and uplifting....his style reminds me of the old-time quartet concerts.
    God bless you, Burman.
Emma Lee and I appreciate your talent so much.
Call when you're in Fort Worth.
    Richard Tosh
