Woodland Press is nearing the release of "Driving Ms. Dottie". Written by Larry Ferguson (Dottie's manager) the book details short stories and photographs from his travels with the Queen of Gospel Music. Larry describes the book as "a journal of sorts and scrap book of memories all wrapped in one".

Dottie recently completed her forward for the book and endorsements have been given from many artists after reading the composition including Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Barbara Mandrell, Bill Anderson, Kenny Bishop, Jessy Dixon, Crystal Gayle, Aaron Wilburn, Little Jan Buckner, Ann Downing, Gerald Crabb and many others.
