CANTON, Ohio – 2005 SGN Music Award Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Jonathan White just released Living the Good Life – his first studio album since the release of his critically acclaimed live album Live at Chapel Hill.

Living the Good Life is now available to purchase through Jonathan’s website, and it can also be purchased at Jonathan White concerts and appearances.

“This is a tremendous new project from one of Southern Gospel’s most outstanding voices,” mentioned Deon Unthank of SouthernGospelNews.com. “With some special guests like the always phenomenal Valor and Lauren Cheney, Jonathan has outdone himself this time.”

“We’ve always felt like Jonathan had the stuff to be a household name in the Gospel music community,” mentioned Chris Unthank of Southern Spin Entertainment. “Living the Good Life has the potential to make Jonathan just that. This is a very strong project.”

Living the Good Life was produced by Wesley Pritchard and Milton Smith and executive produced by White. The album features original songs written by industry leaders such as Steven Cheney, Jeff Ferguson, Sheldon Wade Mencer, Twila McBride-LaBar, Tery Wilkins, Niles Borop, Eddie Carswell, and many more. White also shared songwriting duties on the title cut “Living the Good Life” with Steven Cheney, Sheldon Wade Mencer, and Dan Adkins.

Living the Good Life also features classics such as Bill & Gloria Gaither’s “It Is Finished” which showcases White’s stellar vocals. The instant classic “Heroes” is dedicated to those whose ministry is outside of the church walls and corresponds with White’s Sometimes Miracles Hide outreach to families of disabled children.

Living the Good Life also features two guest artists. The title cut highlights the extremely versatile style of vocal group Valor, while “I Am God” includes Lauren Cheney on duet vocals.

“I’m very excited about this album,” mentioned Jonathan White. “I really feel like it shows who I am as an artist and a minister. I especially hope that fans can hear my heart with this recording.”

Jonathan’s current single, “Church For a Change,” can be found on his latest studio album, Freedom, and was written by Cheri Mullins, Kenneth Mullins, and Mark Brian Willett. The song recently peaked at #12 on the SouthernGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart.

White will also be making a return appearance at the 7th Annual Gospel Music Fan Festival on Saturday, July 29, 2006 in Smyrna, Tennessee. More information on the Gospel Music Fan Festival will be released shortly.
