(ATLANTA, Ga) Oct. 23, 2005-Announcing The Light, a new online Southern Gospel radio station dedicated to the Atlanta and North Georgia area. Its primary focus is to minister to listeners with music that speaks the truth about the Gospel of Christ. Playing 24 hours, 7 days a week in stereo. In addition our home page includes music charts, an interactive message board, a comprehensive listing of area gospel music events, local weather and more. To listen to The Light directly you can log on to http://www.live365.com/stations/thelightatlanta.
Artists and labels who are not currently on our playlist that would like to be considered for airplay should contact The Light directly through our Website. The station is committed to giving all artists the chance to have their music heard and to share the Gospel through song with others. Compilation CDs are welcome and encouraged.
We would like to say a special thanks to the individuals and record labels who have assisted in this ministry getting off the ground. It is through your prayers and help that things have finally taken off! Though there are many around the area, the City of Atlanta itself does not have a Southern Gospel station on regular radio, and we're hoping to help fill that void with our online stream.
