SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Cerces, one of the Midwest’s most popular family groups, are pleased to announce Andy Fauth as the group’s new lead singer. Andy was hired on August 1, 2005 and began his duties on August 22, 2005.

Andy is originally from the Boise, Idaho area and now lives with his beautiful wife, Sylvia, in nearby Branson, Missouri. Andy has been well known in the Branson area as a soloist for years, traveling and singing in churches, fairs and other venues throughout the area. Andy's wife, Sylvia, also travels with the group as much as schedules will permit.

Cliff Cerce, group manager, said, "We are excited to have this fine couple join our team. Andy has a very pleasant and powerful voice, and he will bless the hearts of people everywhere. They have a real love for Gospel Music and a passion for winning souls to the Lord, and I am sure our friends will fall in love with them very quickly."

Andy is taking the place of Darin Kasterke, who left the group in July to travel with his family’s ministry team.

The Cerces recently reached a booking agreement with Dave Taylor, former booking agent for Chosen Few. The group also recently signed on with the Rick Hendrix Company for radio promotions and Southern Spin Entertainment for publicity.

The group is currently preparing for a new album.

Be listening for the group’s current single, “O Happy Day,” on Southern Gospel radio across the country.

The Cerces would also like to invite everyone who is attending the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky this year to stop by their booth and visit with them. Their booth number is 345. The group will also be performing on the Southern Spin Entertainment Showcase on Wednesday, September 14 from 1-3 p.m. in the Executive Inn Canterbury Room and at the Heavensound.com Showcase on Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the same room.
