The Southern Gospel Promoters Association will hold their annual meeting on May 19th and 20th, 2004 at the Music Road Hotel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

According to SGPA President, Jim Hefner, this is going to be a very informative as well as enjoyable two days. On Wednesday night, it will be the first-ever SGPA Banquet beginning at 7:00 p.m. with food, fun, fellowship, and entertainment. Guest speaker will be Clarke Beasley, Executive Vice President of the National Quartet Convention, whom Hefner says has been a real friend to the SGPA.

The Thursday morning meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Many exciting things will be revealed and many innovative ideas will be shared. We have seen a tremendous member growth the past twelve months and, therefore, must adjust to keep pace with that growth. The meeting is important to everyone, especially our new members, as we continue to express that there is strength in numbers.

We will break at Noon for a complimentary luncheon at the Louise Mandrell Theatre that will be followed by a mini-concert by the Integrity Quartet. At 2:00 p.m. we will begin our afternoon meeting with officers to be elected for the coming year.

Special rates are available at the Music Road Hotel. If you plan to attend any of the meetings, you must make your reservation by Monday, May 3rd – absolute deadline - NO EXCEPTION. Telephone our Public Relations Director, Robbie Maxwell, at (256) 574-0138. Jim Hefner, SGPA President
