While Gospel Music takes on different forms, I doubt that any would disagree that the style of Elvis Presley easily fits into the Southern Gospel mode.It takes about two syllables to determine that Elvis had a great influence on the vocal stylings of Jerry Deewood. I think that it is more of a natural sound than an imitation of Elvis, but if you like Elvis you're going to love Jerry Deewood. He sings with the same style and energy of Elvis Presley.

This CD is especially interesting becausel of the songs penned by noted Imperial Tenor and former Elvis backup singer Sherrill "Shaun" Nielsen. Shaun also sings on some of the songs with Jerry. Adding even more to the atmosphere of this recording it was recorded at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis, TN, where Elvis did many of his early recordings.

The song "Reflections" was written by Jerry Deewood and is a song on Jerry's "reflection" of life. Jerry resides in Belgium.
