Hello, I would like some input on starting a website. I sing in a southern gospel trio, and we would like to launch a website to help get our name out there, as well as keep people informed of what is happening with the group. There are many companies out there on the internet that advertise web hosting services (ie. go daddy, power web, yahoo hosting etc…). I don’t really know what to look for when it comes to specifics. Any help would be appreciated. We don’t really have a lot of money to spend on a website so the most economical would help as well. We also don’t want to support a company that has questionable ethics either. Thanks

GoDaddy is pretty cheap. I’ve heard mixed reports about their service, but I know several people who use them with no problems. Just don’t try to run any scripts as php and mysql are not really implemented well. Their domain hosting is very inexpensive, and you can always point it to another server if you want a different web host.Our guru here at work claims you get what you pay for…he’s probably right but it’s nice not to spend a lot of money.
