I am an old friend of Jack Smith’s.  He played with The Goodmans for a while.  Would anyone have an email address for him?  I would really like to get in contact.  In fact not just me, my mother would as well.
Please help if you can.

Here’s a link to an article about Jack that was in sogospelnews.  There is contact information in the article.

Thank you for replying back.  I have seen that article and have called the phone numbers which are now disconnected.  I have written an email also and they suggested I post to the forum.  Possibly someone might have some information.  I am just needing an email address.  Or if anyone prefers not to give out his email address, could they possibly give him mine?  .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

thank you all.

The last word I had was that Jack was living in Arizona, but I don’t have his address or phone numbers. His brother Gary Smith is still in Nasville (a great piano player by the way) and he can be contacted via the Musicians Union in Nashville. I am sure Gary knows how to reach Jack.

Thank you so much for responding.  This is more than I have found so far.  I am an old friend of his younger days .. approx 35 years ago.  I am just trying to reach out and give a warm welcome hello.  No one can ever say I haven’t tried.  Jack used to come down and back up my mother’s group with the steel guitar.  I’ve held him near and dear in my heart and would just like to say hello.

Do you know how to contact the Musicians Union?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  You are a true blessing.
