Does anyone make “Turkey Burgers”?  If so, please share your recipe or ideas as to what to put in the turkey meat to make them “scrumptious”!!!

OK…After I went on a diet, I decided NOT to ever eat beef burgers again because of how good turkey burgers are.  Here is what I do…

Take 1lb of ground turkey. Don’t get the one with the least amount of fat.  Remember that a lot of fat will cook out on the grill, pan, George Foreman grill, or whatever you use.

Add grill steak seasoning (3-4 tablespoons), add 4 tablespoons of your favorite bbq sauce.  Sometimes I add more.  Just depending on how I’m feeling.  THEN…add bacon bits.  I prefer real bacon that I have cooked, dried and crumbled myself.  Your call.  Add some chopped onion if you like them.  I love them and love the taste of grilled onion, so it fits me well.  About 1/4 of a large white or yellow onion.  Just depending on how strong of an onion taste you want.  Mix all up and make a patty to fit your belly and go a grillin!

Happy Turkey Burgers!
