the wages of sin is death

Ever sinned there buddy?  Not even one.

His/her sin is bigger than yours?

Didn’t like the lifestyle they lived, but for the grace of God go I.

I’m editing this to clarify a little.  I absolutely believe Michael Jackson was a pedophile and sick pervert.  However, Jesus loved both of them just as much as he does any of us or even our most revered saint.  The only difference is whether or not the blood has been applied to our lives.

There is nothing we can do to make God love us anymore and there is nothing we can do to make Him love us anymore.

The bible says that no greater love can a man have than to lay down his life for his friends.  It also says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  So if he loves us all the same, then the only difference in me and them is whether the blood has been applied.

I prefer to remember the “young” MJ and will to try and forget the “older” MJ.

MJ was extremely talented and the early Jackson 5 songs bring back fond memories of the late 60s and the 70s.  It is sad that he didn’t use his talent more to glorify God instead of just for money and fame.  As for his main problem, I hope he repented and got saved.

Farrah was considered by most, including me,  a very physically attractive woman.  She and others exploited her looks for big money, for a time.  She did influence a lot of people, for that short time.  Beyond that, I don’t know.  I hope she got saved also.

I believe the only souls who will be celebrities in heaven will be the ones who have done the most for The Kingdom of God.

first no i do not practice open SIN, i to hope they repented the way the bible says (Romans 10-9) if thou confess with thou mouth, not want to, not with your thinking, not with should have, but with your mouth and that is the only way i beleave. the children of Isreal could not see thru Gods Wrath to see his love and today the children of god can not see through his love to his Wrath! sin unless as romans says( the word says) we can look at it any way we want but it don’t line up with the word. why would God require me to come out of the life style of the world and not them that would make God unjust i beleave if a person truly gets saved you can see it maybe they did,but if we as true children of god do not stop trying to get god to allow sin in heaven because of what (we) think again see Romans 10-9 or because some one has tailent we are in such trouble in the church world today,we can not wish them in want them in and they can not buy there way in or with popularity (only by the Blood of Jesus) today we are afraid to look sin in the face and tell it what it is. when i say the wages of sin is death it is not my words but gods. God loves every one but he hates sin we should do away with the very appreance of sin,Boy wouldn’t that make a diffrence in the world today as the world sees the church.

So…JD…do you practice secret Sin?

I will not say whether I think Michael Jackson was or was not a pedophile, because that is between him and the Lord.  I will say that practicing open SIN and SINNING in your own life is nothing different in God’s eyes.  SIN IS SIN IS SIN IS SIN. Nothing else.  The Lord says that if you have broken just one of His commandments, you have broken them all.  Whether it be in your mind or in public.  God does not RATE sin.  It is SIN.  Jesus cared for the woman at the well, he cared for the prostitute, he did not like what they did, but loved them. As far as the Wages of sin is death?  Yes true, but that seems to me like you’re saying that they were not Christians.  I would suggest that you leave that up to God.  Did they act like itm not sure, because I didn’t know them.

the bible says how the tree falls it will lay, again not my words but gods, we still need to quit trying to pat sin on the back look where it has brought this country
we bring people into our churchs that sing country on saturday gospel on sunday, rock an roll, look at our youth (be diffrent because i am diffrent, be holy because i am holy, with out holyness no man shall see god, not my words but gods. i know a very good lady a pastor that still has convictions in her life(amazing ant it people don’t have these any more) still after 60 years of preaching the gospel a young man(22 years old told her one day she was an old fogy old holyness and that he was of the new holyness way she told him she did not know there was an old and new holyness but just holyness. pedohile, drug addictt, lier, adulter, homosexual, sinner unless you have been saved AND DELIVERER set free you are still the same, people look for a more lovely way of saying things to a world i have seen people walk by the Brazeing alter to join a church without repenting for there sins and asking god to deliver them they bring those things into the church no change just join a church, no wonder the judgement will start at the church we need to WAKE UP and tell a lost and dyeing world the TRUTH! stop leaving them with thought that they can wait until the last minute (you know not the hour when the son of god shall return. noah never had a single convert in a 120 years of preaching but his preaching did not change, jeremiah not one, a while back i read a article a bout a bus driver an the groups he was driving on this site great article what they were doing god help us! i love everyone but i try my best to live for christ my message the same as noah, jeremiah, john Jesus repent be change while there is still time

And….we’re getting off the subject.  Here the family is needing prayer, and your inconsiderate self is determining whether the people were Christians or not.  HYPOCRITE!  I’ll be praying for you.

Do you think God cries when a sinner dies?

I am not asking for a theological debate.  I just want to offer a few thoughts.  Do you think God grieves when any of his creation dies without accepting his sacrifice?  Is God’s love only limited to those who love Him?  Would the prodigal’s father have grieved over his son if he had never returned?  I know how much I hurt when my son was lost.  I know how many tears I cried.

I won’t pretend to know the state of MJ’s salvation at the time of his death.  I pray that he accepted God’s Gift of Salvation.  But if he didn’t he was still loved.  He was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a father, a friend and yes, he was God’s creation.  So there will be mourning over his passing, and if he died as a sinner, I think God must be grieving.

I don’t believe we should ever gloat over the death of a sinner.  Do we think we won something?  Should we dance at their “getting their just rewards?”  Let’s never forget that we all deserve death, but for the Grace of God.

So, no, I won’t rejoice, I’ll weep!

Good post.  While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  He loves us in spite of sin.  Jesus came to save us from sin.

I’ve seen the church folks rejoice when someone died of drug overdose, or alcohol poisoning, or hard living.

I’ve never seen them rejoice over a church member who died because they couldn’t control their sin of gluttony.  I’ve never seen them rejoice when a member was killed in a high speed crash going well over the speed limit.

No wonder the church is becoming so hated.  It’s not because we are becoming more Christ-like.  We’re becoming more like the Pharisees.
