In theory, yes. I am not so much worried about CEOs’ bonuses as I am where all this goverment stuff is going: I thought everybody wanted “less goverment” but we are heading to a point where the goverment will control more of our lives than we ever imagined possible in our country. I am concerned when the goverment says “oK, you can only make so much money on your job..” It is already starting where I am with the public school system. The county over next to mine has refused to renew any of it teacher’s contracts until July. Becuase of the budget they have. The football coach makes $83K a year! They had some teachers that were making $90k a year. One teacher that has been in that system for 25 years attends my church. She told me that eventually the goverment will put a cap on salaries, limiting down to the mid-range of about 35-50k a year, regardless of education and experience. The teacher I have at the tech school has been there 25 years and has several academic degrees. He told me last year that he had refused the last 5 raises they had offered simply for that reason: “When the board want to cut budgets, nowdays they start with the most experienced and highest paid teachers they have. They can boot us, and hire replacements right of out college at half the cost…”
