I would like to request prayer for my Mother.  She will be going into the hospital early tomorrow morning for the doctors to perform a catheterization to see if she has any blockages to the heart.  She has been having some discomfort for about six weeks.  If they see that it is needful, they might be putting in a stent and keeping her overnight.  Please pray for the Lord to give wisdom to the doctors and guide them through this exploratory surgery and that all will go well with my Mother.  Thank you so much in advance for your prayers!  They are so very much appreciated!

Wonderful news!  My Mom came through the surgery quite well.  The nurse told me that the doctors saw just a couple of small minor blockages, nothing to be concerned over or requiring a stent.  They have decided to rework her medicines and hopefully this will stop her discomfort and keep the blockages from getting any larger.  They will be sending her home later this evening.

God is so good always!  He gave me such peace about it this morning and He faithfully came through once again!  From a most grateful heart I would like to thank anyone and everyone who breathed a prayer after reading this request.  It is appreciated more than you will ever know!  Many blessings to one and all! smile

Thank you ladies!  While it was wonderful news, it has taken a different form now.

When I spoke to the nice nurse yesterday morning about my Mom, she did not have all the reports and records on hand at the time to know all the facts.  Come to find out after talking with my parents last night, my Mom does have some blockages that are quite extensive.  Had they put some stents in, they could have punctured something else, because one of her arteries was twisted somehow.  So now they said the best route to go would be a triple bypass surgery which she will have soon.  I am so grateful that the Lord gave the doctors wisdom not to proceed with the stents for the complications this could have caused her, and that they caught this in time before it led to a heart attack, in that respect it is good.  God still gives peace over all of this and I will trust in His perfect wisdom.  I believe that He is protecting her and choosing the better route to correct her problem.  I still would gratefully appreciate your ongoing prayers and I do believe and trust that God is answering our prayers in His perfect way and time.  He always knows best!  My Mom is so dear and precious to me and we are extremely close.  We do rise and call her blessed!  She always has had a beautiful spirit and a loving and giving heart!  She is the best and I am honored to be her daughter!

We also received news this morning that my husband’s father had just passed away.  He has had cancer and other major problems for years.  Actually the doctors did not expect him to live this long, but he did live 15 years beyond what the doctors had originally predicted.  The family is doing well, but would also appreciate your prayers on their behalf.

God is always so good and this just proves that He always has the final authority regardless what doctors or anyone else might say.  Our trust and hope is always in Him til the end!

We truly have much to be thankful for and I wish for all of you a most joyous and blessed Thanksgiving!

Many blessings!

Will certainly be praying for you in this difficult time.  Illness is difficult at any time, but more so it seems during the holidays.  I hope that your father-in-law knew the Lord, and that he is rejoicing in His presence now.  God bless you and give you comfort.

Thank you, Sarah, for your prayers on behalf of my Mom and our families, for they are truly precious to me!

Yes, my father-in-law was saved.  He didn’t know much of the family these last several months except for my husband, because he had developed dementia.  We are so thankful for the time we did have with him and how the Lord gave him much longer than the doctors had ever expected.  They called him a miracle!  And yes he was a miracle from the Lord above!

Blessings to you! smile

We have so much to be thankful for this Christmas season!  My beautiful and sweet Mom had her bypass surgery yesterday morning and came through the surgery quite well.  The bypass ended up becoming a 4-way bypass instead of three and lasted almost 4 1/2 hours.  I called the hospital this morning to see how she was doing and the nurse said she was doing well.  She is off the ventilator and they have her sitting up in a chair.  They plan to have her walking sometime soon and will be moving her from the critical care unit to a regular room this evening.  She will remain in the hospital for about 5 to 7 days.  Mom is receiving wonderful care from the doctors and nurses and she has even received prayers for her healing and much encouragement from them as well.

God is always so good no matter what.  I am so grateful for how extraordinarily well He has been taking care of my Mom each step of the way and I continue to trust in His provisions to help her and see her through the road to recovery ahead of her.

I wish to thank all who have prayed for her and ask that you would continue to pray for her on her path to recovery.  We are tremendously blessed by the Lord and by the outpouring of love, prayers and care from family and friends!

May God abundantly and richly bless each and every one! smile

Thank you, Sarah!  What a blessing and encouragement you are!

We had a tender moment yesterday after we received the great news from the nurse.  My Dad was so full of joy with tears filling his eyes, and he was talking about how good the Lord is and then he said of my Mom “That is one beautiful woman in there.”  Now that is Love!  She most definitely is one beautiful woman, not just on the outside, but even more on the inside!  smile

God bless you, Sarah!

He certainly is, Sally, in the most extraordinary ways!  Our Mom and family have truly been sustained, strengthened and blessed through it all.  The Lord has answered prayer after prayer!  My Mom has been doing exceptionally well since her surgery.  It is just possible, that since she is doing so well, that she might be coming home tomorrow.  We are . . . . . . most truly blessed!  And I do believe that all things work together for good . . . . in His perfect way and time, for all His good intent and purposes!  Although we might not always understand His ways, we do trust in all His good plans!  God is so good all the time!

Many blessings to you, Sally! smile

Hi Folks!

I would like to ask prayer once again for my dear mother.  She has been doing quite well since her quadruple bypass surgery last December, although she has been back in to have a few stents put in since then.  Tomorrow she goes back in once again for a couple more stents.  I would gratefully appreciate your prayers for the Lord to give the surgeon wisdom, to guide his hands as he performs the surgery, and that she would come through successfully with no complications.  The Lord has taken such great care of her and I trust that He will continue to see her through.

Also, my precious daughter has just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.  She has started taking insulin once a day and is learning a better and healthier way of eating.  I admire her for the way she has handled this thus far.  She has done it with such grace and maturity, even though she does not want to have this issue in her life.  I ask that you keep her in your prayers for the journey ahead in dealing with this and I trust the Lord will continue to take great care of her and to strengthen her through all of this.  I trust in His good plans for her life.

The Lord has truly been so faithful and good to all of us and we are so very grateful for all He has done!  Many blessings to each and everyone of you!  Thank you for your prayers on behalf of my family members who are so dear and precious to me! smile May God richly bless you!

God is so very good!

The surgery for my Mom went quite well yesterday and she came home this morning.  The doctor said the surgery was very successful and that this should help her tremendously with the discomfort and pressure she had been experiencing lately.  My Daughter also seems to be adjusting and doing well for which I am so very grateful!  I am so proud of her and how she is handling things!

We are truly a blessed people!  May everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving, for we all have so much to be thankful for, most of all, Jesus Christ and His marvelous gift of salvation!

Thank you to all who have read these recent prayer requests and breathed a prayer for my precious Mother and Daughter.  Many blessings to all! smile
