For those who have iTunes on your computers, I have a question. I did the automatic update to add album cover art to my iTunes library. However, iTunes only had about half of them. Since I already have all of my albums covers scanned to my hard drive, is there a way to upload them onto my iTunes library?

Sound Equipment Questions

I sing bass in a group, and have a tech question.

We currently run a Sound system with a Mackie 1604VLZ board out to Bose L2 speakers. We use Sennheiser SW100 Wireless (Dynamic Mics) although my mic is a condensor.

My question is as a bass singer I have a good solid mid range but when I go down to hit low notes, I don’t have volume. I can hit and keep quality on good low range notes, just no volume when I get there.

What can I do to enhance/bring out my low notes with our soundsystem? None of our group has the technical knowledge, and I haven’t had a chance to talk to other groups to see what they are doing? I know most of the mic tricks (varying closeness, etc) but find that turning up my gain doesn’t work, as then my mic is way too hot for speaking or handling.

Thoughts or suggestions?

What kind of RAM do I buy?

I really need to buy RAM for my laptop. I should have spent the extra when I bought it, but settled with the 2g of RAM. I want to upgrade to 4g. The “what’s in it” sticker on the laptop, says 2GB DDR2. I have an ACER Aspire 7720-6569. A while back I looked online and I don’t remember finding any answers.

The big question, do I just buy RAM that says DDR2? Or is there something else I need to know. I would want to buy it from tigerdirect.com

Thanks for any help!

Had an interesting problem last week. Had some updates from Norton and in order to install, they needed to shut down the puter, so I did. When it came back on, I could not connect to the internet although the wireless connection in the house was up and running. My son came and worked on it several hours to no avail, so the next day I took it in to be repaired. After checking for viruses, etc., they determined that Norton’s firewall would not allow the connection. They disabled that and all was well. They did turn on another firewall. Later my son took Norton out and put on another anti virus program and I seem to be running well. Have any of you ever experienced a problem with Norton’s firewall?

Which internet browsers do you currently use and/or recommend? I like Firefox, but it’s so slow at times. I don’t like IE because of all of the media coverage that they have had about their security breaches.

How Do You Backup An External Hard Drive

I have 40,000 some tracks saved on my external Western Digital hard drive. I want to back up that hard drive just in case it crashs. What’s the best way of doing this? I don’t want to have to download all those songs all over again. Is there a software program that i need to do this? I am running Windows XP on a HP Notebook for my concerts.
                                                                                     George
