Is everyone getting ready for baseball season?

It looks like the Cincinnati Reds are taking some big steps to improve this season and get back to the playoffs. They traded for starting pitcher Mat Latos and left-handed relief pitcher Sean Marshall and now it looks like they are going to sign closer Ryan Madson.

They still need a good hitter for left field and possibly a third-baseman in case Scott Rolen has injury issues again this year but they should be much improved over last season. Maybe they can win the Central Division again like they did in 2010.

PSU Tragedy!

You really have to feel so sorry for those young men. Who were victims of that now ex-PSU assistant Jerry Sandusky. As his wife is standing by him and the university stood by him. Which is the sad tragedy in this all.

Now that it has cost Joe Paterno his job and his name off of trophies as well. Plus, these now ten victims and their families. Lives will never be the same.

As hopefully justice will prevail and that these young men and their families will get justice as hopefully justice will be given to them. That has been delayed for far too long.

Had Paterno not shrugged this horrifying tragedy off, he would have had his job and plus more good would had come out of this. And justice would prevail. Unfortunately, he only wanted to save his own skin and that of his staff’s.

But since this happened in 1997, and kept in the dark/secret for such far too long. A lot of people got hurt and these victims and their families though very late in getting the justice, that they are now getting. Should had really started in the beginning when all of this happened.

Praying for these victims and families. As hopefully justice will prevail on tese men.

First the NFL and now the NBA, is following suit on a lockout. It is about greed, greed, greed! We the fans are the ones that are being forgotten in this whole mess. As the players and the owners, etc. Need to look at us as the fans. As either sport can be looking at no season or an abbrievated one.
