George Strait Hits Christian Radio

Nashville, TN. George Strait has landed his first record at Christian radio."You'll Be There" shipped today through a promotion and release agreement between Rick Hendrix Company and MCA Records. After scoring fifty #1 country singles in Billboard Magazine, George Strait's faith-based song "You'll Be There" is reaching Christian playlists all over the country.

"I am excited to see the reaction to Strait and the gospel crowds. The first stations that received this song have already begun to receive requests. One station held a make it or break it on air. He said he didn't announce it was Strait, and received 45/2 in favor of the song," stated Hendrix.

The song is the first single from Strait's new album Somewhere Down in Texas hitting stores June 28th. To hear the song go to http://www.rickhendrix.com

Ok Chris, I will agree that we disagree with Christian love. I love this site so keep up the good work. I get more reliable info here than anywhere else.

I think we need to keep in mind, that the condition of this man's heart (whether it's for Christ or not) is in God's hands not ours. Only God knows his heart. Unless he claims to be a Christian, we do not know. We shouldn't judge him otherwise. We will know by his fruit. Until he professess his beliefs it should only be recognized as some religious song. Those are my thoughts. Thank you!
