Three Bridges - Nov 08
What an October 2008 we have had! "Three Bridges signs with Homeland Entertainment Group!" seems to have been plastered around the gospel music "web." NEVERTHELESS, just in case you didn't know... THREE BRIDGES SIGNS WITH HOMELAND! This is music to our ears! We pray that the new record, "Another Blessing," will be music to your ears! We look forward to the future at our new label "home!" The folks at Homeland already feel like family!
We started October off with a week in Shipshewana, Indiana at the Blue Gate Restaurant and Theater (Phone 888-447-4725)!!! Scotty ate enough peanut butter to choke the teams of horses that Eddy drove down the main street in "Shipshe!" Eddy was in equestrian heaven with all of those horses and buggies clip-clopping around! We must admit that the clip-clop of the horses' hooves was a rather captivating sound and a welcome respite from the "sounds" of our modern everyday living! Check out the website for photos! We were blessed to have been with The Allen family, The Balos Family, The Providentials Quartet and Sisters x 2! Many thanks and a big "God Bless You" to Mel Reigsecker and family and friends for a wonderful week with lovely accomodations, great food and delightful crowds! We had a great time in the Lord all week long! Elliot even learned how to shoe a horse or was it horse a shoe? Anyway, go check out Mel's place in Shipshewana. Again the name is the Blue Gate Restaurant and Theater (Phone 888-447-4725)!
The following week, we had a delightful time up in Ohio with all of our dear friends! We, of course, had several concerts and we also toured the lovely city of Columbus (by the way, Columbus is where Elliot woo'ed his bride Ms. T- "back in the day") and THE Ohio State University campus! We then ended up the next week in our backyard in Nashville! Whether we were meeting new friends, seeing old friends, walking behind the environmentally sound (or "Green") horses and buggies in Shipshewana (boy, those horses and their "exhaust" redefine "green"), or whether walking around OSU or downtown Nashville, we found new blessings around every turn of our journey! It's amazing how many blessings you can find when you just look for them! Three Bridges' blessings include a new label, a new website, a new Record/CD project, and a talented, charming, sophisticated and highly intelligent new writer for these articles -- Jimmy! By the way, if you like Jimmy's writing, please let him know! If you don't like it, then just take a moment anyway and let us know about a recent blessing you received! Jimmy knows he's not that good anyway! We would love to hear from you!
God Bless You all!
Jimmy
