How often do you personally stop and think, “God loves me…He is rejoicing over me right now”? Our lives are filled with God’s love and mercy! One of my favorite songs is “I am a Friend of God” by Israel Houghton. I love that song because it reminds me of something that always amazes…that someone like me could be friends with God almighty!!
This scripture is also a reminder of God’s love and faithfulness. It states that when you are glad God rejoices with you!! He takes the time to rejoice over you with singing! He sings to YOU! That is just amazing to me!
I encourage you today to write down this verse and memorize it. Allow God to speak these words into the depths of your soul. God’s Word is truth and you can trust that these words were written to speak into your heart, into your circumstance. In His word your will always find comfort, peace and assurance!
