Won By One - Under God

imageLabel – American Christian Artists
This first recording since the major group change has some nice material on it. Songs range from going back to the 70s and grabbing the old Dallas Holm song “Jesus Got A Hold Of My Life” to new material written by group member David Jenkins like “When Morning Breaks”.

They give a nice touch to “Jesus Got A Hold Of My Life”, while I think that “I Choose To Believe” would make a good radio release.  “God Graced Me With His Presence” and “Lord Make Me Holy” are both co-written by David Jenkins and Rebecca Peck, and are both very worshipful songs, but my favorite song on the CD is “The Rock That Will Never Roll”.

While the vocals could be tighter in the mix, if you are a Won By One fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this CD.
