Voices Won is a group of brothers, Jaron, Shantell and Staclynn, hailing from Dalton, GA. The group organized in 2000 and with it being 3 brothers, you know you’ll be hard pressed to beat the blend of family. Some of you may recognize Staclynn as he also sang with “Malachi” and “Jericho”.
Their aptly titled latest release, Songs for Everyone features songs from some of southern gospels big writers including, Phil Cross, Jim Brady, Kevin Ward, Marty Funderburk and more. Listeners will also enjoy several tunes by group member, Jaron. It is an excellent blend of southern gospel with several songs that have a more contemporary flair.
It kicks off with an incredibly strong start in the song Tell Your Story written by Jaron Faulkner. From the first note, you know you are in for a quality project in the blend and harmony of the voices as well as the instrumentation. Something For Everyone is a beautiful ballad and this reviewer is always drawn in with a great unison line, which this song has. I Go with the Lord has a more up tempo and contemporary sound and puts me in the mind of a Phillips, Craig & Dean style. Give Him Room showcases the amazing harmony that this group has become known for. Guess What Zacchaeus Found features a strong country style that is rather fun. It closes out with a song called The Road Less Traveled reminding us that this is the road that will take us home.
This project has a surprising number of upbeat songs with 6/10 songs. If you are listening to cds these days, you know how rare that is. If you aren’t familiar with the group, Voices Won, you will be soon. With their ability to blend and song selection, they are sure to be a rising name in this industry.

Nice review of a great project! I have this album and have really enjoyed listening to it. Voices Won just recently hosted their annual two-day homecoming event in Dalton, Georgia, with The Crist Family, Karen Peck & New River, and Mark Bishop. They sang most of the songs from the new Something for Everyone album.
