There is no easy way to tell you this, so I am just going to go right to the heart of the matter.
Roger did not get good news today. His test results are all in and the Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia has turned into Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. It is Roger's understanding that this is a much more dangerous type of Leukemia. Unfortunately Roger is going to have to have another stem cell transplant. It will require a much more aggressive round of chemo-therapy than he had last time leading up to transplant. They expect that it will require a six month stay in Houston. On Monday, Roger will be put back into the resticted environment at M.D. Anderson and they will begin treatment immediately.
We really do not know any more than that right now. Please resist the temptation to bombard me with emails asking for more info. We simply do not know anything else right now. I promise that I will update you as often as I have new info.
Monday, Legacy Four will be leaving for the Singing at Sea. I suspect that Roger will update his web journal while we are at Sea. To read Roger's own words as he posts them, go to http://www.legacyfive.com and click onto Roger's On Line Journal.
In the mean time, I am asking you all to really increase your prayer time on the Bennett's behalf. They need it.
Please know that it gives us all great comfort to know that we can call upon you, our family during these times of great need.
Hold On!
Scott

Just want to let you know that I am praying for Roger and his family daily.
I believe God answers prayer and that he will heal Roger. It's sad to hear this news but we all know of a better doctor and his name is Jesus. Roger will be in my prayers. God bless you all.
I have prayed for you & your family every night & will continue.
