The Talley Trio Celebrate Their #1 Hit The Broken Ones

Arden-NC: Multi-award winning family group the Talley Trio celebrates May with their 8th number one song to date in the Singing News Radio Airplay chart. Written by Jerry Salley, Vip Vipperman and J.B. Rudd for the group’s Stages project, “The Broken Ones” made a quick climb to the top. Debuting in the Singing News magazine’s February chart, the single reached the top position in 4 months. The song has also topped the Southern Gospel Music News’ chart again this week for the third consecutive week.

“It is amazing the people that approach us after we perform “The Broken Ones” to tell us how much the song relates to them or someone in their lives. It is a blessing to perform a song that reaches so many,” states Roger Talley, “We want to thank all the DJs and listeners for supporting this song and its special message.”
Jim Stover, head of Crossroads Radio Promotions, adds “"Anytime you get a song that has Raggedy Ann, a little girl named Maggie and the love of Jesus written all over it, where can it go but up? We're very proud of the Talley Trio and the excellence they bring to Southern Gospel music!"

Rebeccabme1's avatar I heard your new song a few weeks ago on an Internet station. I thought it was a great song. Actually it reminded me of my niece and her granny the first time I heard it. I am a "broken ones" kind of person myself.
Thanks for reminding us to care for others. God bless.

Jesus is Lord. ... be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted and forgiving.  grin
