The Lesters have been one of my favorite groups for a long time. Unfortunately they are very under-rated and overlooked. This CD proves my point. Get ready for some great harmony and exciting material.

From the start of the CD with “I’ve Seen The Light” you are in high gear with the energy coming from your CD player. There are plenty of fun songs like this one, including “I Get To Go” and “Some Day I’ll Reach That Glory Land”. These are three songs that you will keep singing long after the CD has stopped.

There are a couple of powerful ballads on this recording also. The title song of the CD, “We Will Stand” and “Wonders Never Cease”, all tell of the story of Salvation with great expression. The Lesters included a couple of old classics just to keep things interesting. “If You Ever Needed The Lord Before/Standing In The Need Of Prayer” and “In The Shelter Of His Arms” are well done, and you will be singing along with them every time you play this recording.

Brian, Trecia, and Liz all do great on their features, but Brian’s song Jonathan really shines on the Kenna West tune, “Mercy”.

There is one song that puzzles me though. “The Perfect Rose” is a lovely song, but I can hear about three different songs in this one. “The Holy Hills”, “House Of Gold”, and “Prisoner Of Love” can all be heard in the tune of this one song.  It’s a good song, but I find myself distracted by the music.

All in all, you will not be disappointed by purchasing this CD. You’ll be blessed and your spirit will be uplifted.
