This family group offers more diversity than any group I have ever heard. Kim Collingsworth is outstanding on the piano. Her talent is far more than just a great piano accompanist, she ministers as she plays. Phil Collingsworth is right behind Gabriel when it comes to playing that trumpet. If you didn’t see the pictures of the older girls you would never guess that they are still youngsters that are only going to get better.

The CD opens with a hymn that sets the mood for the entire project. The track is big and the harmonies splendid. “Brethren, We Have Met” sounds like it would be high church and stuffy, but not when the Collingsworth’s sing it. Then you are treated to some great instrumental sounds on a medley of older tunes as Kim shines with her piano artistry.

This family is not just talented with their instruments and voices, but they have written some excellent songs also. The first taste of this is “Because Of The Blood”. After you get settled in from great singing, Phil turns up the volume a little with some classy trumpet playing. You can almost hear the words as he plays the old classic “God Leads Us Along”.

Of course nothing is cuter than children kids singing with their family and little Olivia sings good enough to steal any show. Brooklyn and Courtney show their talents as they sing on “Down To Nothin”. Not to be left out, Phil Jr, does a fine job on his feature of “God Likes To Talk To Little Boys”

This CD is just full of great singing on both old and new songs. There are seventeen songs on this CD, so you hear plenty of old familiar songs as well as lots of original material. This CD is well rounded and just about anyone will like what they hear. You won’t be disappointed when you purchase this CD.

James Hales's avatar I saw the end piece of their live video this past Saturday night on INSP. From the two songs I heard, this family is great, and Kim can definitely tear up a piano! You don't see too many women play a piano like this lady.

I have known Phil and Kim for a long time. They have always been very talented and wonderful people and now their children have come along and added another dimension to their ministry. They do an awesome job and they know what their singing about. If you ever have the chance, go see them in concert, you won't be disappointed!

The Collingsworth's are among my favorites. I love to hear them in person and on Video. They are special friends and I'm happy to see them on here. Phil does remind me of gabriel, even though he denies it. Kim well, you just have to see her tear down the Jericho walls. the kids are each one special in their own ways.
