The Childress Family Releases New Single, “In Christ Alone”

MADISONVILLE, Ky.--The Childress Family is pleased to announce the release of their latest single, “In Christ Alone,” from their project PRAISE.

Marlene Childress of The Childress Family notes, "'In Christ Alone' is considered by many to be a modern hymn and I think this song has some of the most powerful lyrics we've ever sung." Of the message of the song, group member Teresa Lutz says, "We are reminded by this song that in spite of health problems, economic troubles or any other issues that may bring hardships into our lives, our real hope is not in our health care providers, our insurance companies, our bank, the government or our 401K, but solely in Jesus Christ. This song has been a tremendous blessing to our own family in recent months and I feel that it can bring great comfort to others as well."

The single can be found on the Golden Street Records Compilation Disc, Volume 2, also featuring Southern Sound and The Conquerors. For more information about The Childress Family, please visit http://www.childressfamily.com

The Childress Family is one of Southern Gospel music's finest groups. If you aren't familiar with this group, buy their CD. One of the marks of a great group is that they can hold their own in a live setting. I have heard the Childress Family a number of times, and each time I am blown away by their harmony and cohesiveness. Our group has worked with them, and I always find them to be top-notch professionals in every way each time I am around them. Radio should embrace this group. Highly recommended.
