Sunday Edition Performs for NASCAR Fans

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, recently performed for fans of NASCAR this past weekend in Bristol, Tennessee.

During the fall NASCAR race, Sunday Edition performed a Saturday afternoon concert for fans of the event at the only non-alcoholic campground in Bristol, Tennessee – Peaceful Valley Campground. The trio also performed at a special chapel service held for campers on Sunday morning.

“We had such a great time,” mentioned Deon Unthank of Sunday Edition. “It was a very unique experience for us, but we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Peaceful Valley Campground was an excellent host, and we look forward to coming back!”

Peaceful Valley Campground is owned and operated by Gateway Baptist Church and Pastor Dave Shinault and staff.

“Sunday Edition was a great addition to our very exciting weekend here in Bristol,” mentioned Pastor Dave Shinault. “We enjoyed having them this past weekend. They not only entertained the campers, but they also ministered to them as well. Job well done!”

More information on the Peaceful Valley Campground can be found at http://valleycamping.com.

Sunday Edition will host a special live listening party of the group’s brand new recording, Absolutely Free, for fans and industry professionals during the week of the National Quartet Convention. The listening party will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in the Canterbury Room of the Executive Inn in Louisville, Kentucky from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

All fans and industry professionals are welcome to come to the listening party.

Absolutely Free was produced by Donna Beauvais (of Hope’s Call) and engineered, mixed, and mastered by award winning engineer Steve Allen. The album features songs written by group members Amy Marie Unthank and Chris D. Unthank, as well as Rebecca J. Peck, Paula Stefanovich, Daryl Williams, and more.

The first single from the new album was recently shipped to Southern Gospel radio all across the country through Rhonda Thompson Promotions. The song, titled “Call On Jesus”, was written by Rebecca J. Peck. The song is already seeing a strong response from internet radio as it has already been added to several stations such as SGMRadio.com, GlobalSouthernGospel.com, RealSouthernGospel.com (formerly SGLive365), and more.

Fans can get a sneak peak of Absolutely Free by visiting Sunday Edition’s MySpace which is currently streaming “Call On Jesus”, “Lift Up Your Eyes”, “Absolutely Free”, and “He Keeps Lifting” from the album.
