HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. Newly formed Willow Creek Records is pleased to announce the release of the brand new Southern Brothers project, Real Life. Scott, Todd and Tim celebrated the release with a concert held in their home state of Missouri at the Cape County Cowboy Church. The popular brothers performed with a live band to a room full of fans, friends and media that totaled over 1,300. Real Life was produced by Terry Thompson and features the trio’s well-known country vocals combined with Gospel lyrics on selections written by writers such as Dallas Davidson, Randy Hauser, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Tony Wood, Sue C. Smith, John Meyer, Jay Demarcus, Hillary Lindsey, James Slater, Bart Millard, and two selections written by group member, Scott Mills. Their current single, “Back To God,” is playing on radio stations nationwide. Real Life released in early February and can be purchased on iTunes and http://www.willowcreekrecordsnashville.com .
“The Southern Brothers couldn’t be more excited about the new album. We were so amazed by the folks that came out to hear us country boys on a very, snowy day a few weeks ago. Interestingly enough, it seemed as though the audience set through the first couple of songs in awe of what they were hearing and seeing. Quickly after that, everyone joined in and had a great time. We had several folks say that the concert was breathtaking, and they were thoroughly impressed to the point that we got to go home with most everyone there in the form of our brand new cd. We thank the Cape County Cowboy Church for their support and generosity," commented member, Tim Mills.
With over 20 years in music, the Southern Brothers are no stranger to gospel music. They were the host group at Branson’s own Silver Dollar City, where they performed five days a week to thousands of park visitors. They later took their ministry on the road and continue to travel thousands of miles spreading the Gospel in music. During their career, the brothers have claimed numerous top 40 and top 10 hit songs. They have been featured on the Gaither Homecoming Video Series, TBN, Swan's Place and various concerts with many of today’s top artists. They are currently scheduled to embark on their Real Life 2010 multi-city tour with special guest, Crawford Crossing, on May 22, 2010 at the Southeast River Campus in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
