SGN Writer, Dr, Donald Frazier’s Wife Passes Away

On Saturday January 30, at 4:50 PM CST, Abbie Frazier, wife of Dr. Donald M. Frazier, went to be with the Lord. She had battled Stage Four Lymphoma for several years before she passed away. The Celebration Service for Abbie will be conducted at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home in Houston, TX at 2 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Dr. Frazier is a Clinical Counselor, as well as, a musician, singer and staff writer for SoGospelNews.

Obituary:

After her long and courageous battle with Lymphoma, Alvaleen (Abbie) Prentice Frazier, of Katy , TX , peacefully and painlessly left this world on Saturday Jan. 30, 2010 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, the Reverend Dr. Donald M. Frazier; their two sons, Jeremy and his wife Rebecca, and Jason and his wife Regina; her six grandchildren (Mackenzie, Micah, Joshua, Kyra, Quint and Jake) whom she adored; her father and stepmother, Al and Joyce Prentice; sister Beth and husband Wayne Grindle; brother Carl Prentice; foster brother Dan Taylor and his wife Juanita; Aunt Gleva McWilliams and her husband Archie; and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Forest Park Westheimer.

A Celebration Service honoring Abbie’s life will be held at 2 pm Wed. February 3, 2010 . Her service will be conducted by Rev. Jason M. Frazier and Rev. Calvin Durham with interment to follow in the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery , 12800 Westheimer Rd , Houston 77077 .
