Gospel music lost another legend this weekend. Robert S. Arnold passed away Saturday, Feb.8th at the age of 98.
Robert S. Arnold was the founder of the National Music Company. He has written several hundred gospel songs. His best known composition is the gospel classic "No Tears in Heaven".
Mr. Arnold possessed a beautiful tenor voice even in his advanced years. He was a member of the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Some may remember this gentleman and his clear tenor voice from the 1998 Grand Ole Gospel Reunion.
