Question and Answer with The Perrys

During NQC this year we had the opportunity to speak for a few minutes with The Perrys and catch up with some things that are going on. Below are some of the questions and answers we received.

Question and Answer with The Perrys:

Do you feel challenged by quartets with your new sound?

No. Real quartets will never feel challenged by us because we aren't an all male quartet, though our sound is very similar. We are blown away at the response we've received to our more traditional sound. It has been great for us. We finally fit in a niche we feel comfortable in.

How can you top this year?

We've had a phenomenal year. We've never had so many people say "This is my favorite album". We don't know how we can top this year, but we know that God will provide. We do know we are going to keep it traditional.

You were involved in the Eddie Crook Reunion at NQC. Tell us about that.

We were with Eddie for 14 years. We certainly can't forget everything he has done for us. Randy Perry joined us to sing "I Remember the Day".

What's new with the Perry's right now?

We are currently working on our Hits & Hymns Volume 2. We are redoing a lot of older material that we think the fans are really going to enjoy.

I met these wonderful people at NQC and requested that they sing a song that in recent months has spoken volumes to me, as I know it has with many others also. Thank you guys for singing, "I Rest My Case at the Cross" one more time. It meant so very much. In a time where all-male quartets may be the first choice of many, I would never leave out an opportunity to go and listen to this wonderfully traditional sound of The Perrys. May God continue to bless them abundantly.

I recently saw the Perrys in GA, and they really did an wonderful performance. Not only in their singing, but in their testimony. Libby had
spoke about the miracle of her mom being there and Tracy spoke about his faith and how he got saved. Normally when I have attended gospel singings, I have never seen such a powerful testimony not only through their voices, but through their every day living. They are a wonderful witness. Evreyone needs to go see the Perrys.
