Pickin’ Up the Pieces’, “Bent, Not Broken” Tops Southern Gospel Times Chart

After releasing their single "Bent, Not Broken" in May of 2009, it has reached the hearts of people in the countries of Peru, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guam, Australia and Africa. Written by group member Janet Burroughs, this powerful song is currently #1 at Southern Gospel Times and claimed this spot 9 weeks where it has stayed in their top 40 charts for over 18 weeks. It is also seen the #1 spot on several radio and internet radio stations across the United States. They have just learned this week, this song is not only reaching the gospel realm, but it is now being played on some country stations.

Established in 1997, this Trio released their first project last year with an awesome response from southern gospel and country gospel fans and radio. Their second release written by Gerald Crabb, "Hand of the Savior", was scheduled for nationwide release late 2009, but was postponed by their Morningstar label. Although they don't have a tentative date, they are hopeful that this song will also touch the hearts of gospel music fans. Janet Burroughs of the group says, "It is such a blessing to know that the words of this song has touched so many lives and helped heal the broken Spirits of people who need to hear encouragement about the struggles of the world today. God has been our constant Companion and Leader in our ministry and we are so blessed to spread His message in song. We don't drive a big bus, have a promotion company or booking agent, but we've always traveled on faith in Jesus Christ and are confident that whatever He wants to do with this ministry, He'll do."
