Palmetto State Quartet was recently a part of a great Gospel Music celebration that took place at Trinity Broadcasting Network. Jason Crabb hosted the event and also ministered as he does so powerfully with words of encouragement and songs of hope. The line up included Gold City, Three Bridges and Mike & Kelly Bowling. According to reports from TBN, the show was considered to be a great success and was definitely anointed of the Spirit as all artists would agree. When interviewed, Brian Beatty commented that he and Palmetto State Quartet were so excited about the evening and the Spirit that was there. Beatty said he was very impressed with the warmth of the other groups and the unity to bring Jesus to the people. The crew and staff at TBN were very gracious hosts to all involved and Palmetto State looks forward to future events such as this in the days ahead.
Palmetto State Quartet debuted a new song, “On Time God”, and also preformed “Resting Place” and closed the night with “Open The Eyes Of My Heart”, produced and arranged by Casey Martin, Palmetto State’s keyboardist and musical producer. It is clear that the new Palmetto State Quartet is bringing a fresh sound and creating the best music they have ever released in their sixty two year history. Their music is dynamic and unmistakable and it’s exciting to see PSQ raise the bar on their music ministry. The best and most rewarding days for Palmetto State Quartet are ahead of them. Don’t miss this great event airing on Friday March 28, 2008 on the Praise The Lord program. Check your local listings for times.

I was certainly blessed by the performances of all the artists. It was a well put together program, but, I was most impressed by Jason Crabb as host. What an anointing he has!! Praise the LORD!
I saw this and wasn't pleased with their new sound at all(looks either),I doubt Pittman and Bagwell ever had this in mind for the group.
I have to wonder if we saw the same group. I would have to agree with J Hunt on this one. "On Time God" may be new to them, but is an old song that has already been a hit. I was really dissapointed in "Open the Eyes of My Heart." Their singing in no way matched the music. It was like trying to combine two things that just don't go together. There were a lot of pitch problems and song delivery was not great. Maybe they were having an off night, but this in no way was raising the bar for their group. If anything, it was lowered. There were not nearly as many issues with other artists on the program, other than the usual mix problems that can be expected on TBN programs.
I totally disagree....I Loved the fresh new sound of The Palmetto State Quartet...and I especially enjoyed "Open the eyes of my Heart". I also saw nothing wrong with the group's new look.
