CHECOTAH, Oklahoma – The New Creations are proud to announce the relocation of their ministry headquarters. The group, formerly based out of California, has relocated to Checotah, Oklahoma, broadening the scope and area that The New Creations are able to reach.
Butch Brown (owner of The New Creations) and his wife previously lived in Oklahoma and have wanted to move back to that area for a long time. In the meantime, their daughter, Kym, married Chris Wooten, who was from Alabama. Their marriage made The New Creations a family group for the first time.
“Even though Kym and Chris were married, we never felt the release to relocate the ministry,” said Butch. “This meant six and seven week tours from the West coast to the East coast and back leaving family to keep the home fires burning.”
In the summer of 2002, The New Creations finally felt the move of God and his release to relocate while on tour.
This new location in Oklahoma will allow the group to maintain a more central positioning. The New Creations will be able to tour both the east and west coasts now without having to be gone longer than two or three weeks.
“We have so many friends and loved ones on the West coast that will be missed tremendously, and we will look forward to seeing them when we return on tours,” said Brown. “We have found a great acceptance for our ministry in the short time that we've been in Oklahoma. There is nothing greater than the anointing and blessings that come when you are in the perfect will of God. This is not always an easy place, but it is a blessed and rewarding place.”
The New Creations look forward to meeting many new friends and experiencing a fresh new anointing for their ministry.
