I've been over on Second Mile's MySpace site checking out the song. It's a GREAT song! It's so cool to hear that unmistakeable voice of Mike Bowling among the other great singers. WAY COOL...

What a great album! Our company, Metro Artists Management, has represented Second Mile since their inception and have always known that their music and ministry was special. I must admit that I don't think we realized how good this debut album was going to be. I have become a huge fan of Second Mile over the last few weeks. These songs and their passion for worship have brought new life and energy to our organization and everyone is excited about the days ahead. Way to go Second Mile, I am very proud of you all.

I just went to Second Mile's website and ordered their new album. I listened to the four songs that are available on their My Space site plus short clips of several other at their "official" website, and they are awesome! For some reason I was thinking they were a Southern Gospel group. Not so much! I am going to try to go hear them in Nashville. Judging from their songs, the live performances will be pretty great.

Love this new group. Buddy has been a friend for many years and Donny has been a huge help to The Booth Brothers in the last few months. This group is extremely talented but even better they have a heart for God. I am excited to see doors opening for them.

I was lucky enough to see Second Mile in person and have been blessed by their music and the rich talents they share while delivering a powerful message. The blend and complementary nature of the individual voices is truly amazing to witness - surely a not-to-be-missed event anytime they perform.
Do yourself and your family a favor - go see these guys!

What a fresh and exciting sound. Take a wonderful blend of musicians add a dynamic and powerful presentation of the gospel message and you have Second Mile and Vertical. From the infectious rhythms and music of Somebody Dance and Power and Glory, to the softer Lead You to the Cross and Grace Like Rain, you are sure to experience a renewal of your spirit.

I have heard the Vertical project and I have had the pleasure of seeing Second Mile in concert, my honest opinion -- this is not ordinary. Remember when you heard The Martin's or The Crabb Family for the first time and you just knew?
    This is the same thing.
Their voices are special. I don't know if there are two more dynamic and colorful voices than Buddy Mullins and Donny Henderson. Buddy has been included in the list of top tier male vocalists for years. After listening and watching them live, to me, he still is one of the top three lead singers in Gospel Music. As for Donny, in previous groups he has been the baritone that sang the perfect harmony part. On this project he emerges as a truly great lead voice as well. Kerrie Mullins is that perfect blending voice that makes it all work whether she is singing harmony in her higher or lower range.
And Channing Eleton is the most amazing keyboard artist I have seen in a long long time. His playing is exhilarating and sophisticated. He also seems to possess a truly humble heart that makes watching him play -a pure delight.

Don't let the "It's not Southern enough" sway you.
Can you understand the lyrics? Absolutely. Are their lyrics biblical? Yes. Is there harmony? Think Martin's with two guys and a girl rather than two girls and a guy. Are the voices special? Better than anything I have listened to in years. Will it draw you to Jesus? That's their stated goal and they sure accomplished that with me.

Wow, Ray. That is a great description. Even if I had never heard them, your comments would really make me want to. I agree with everything you said. These guys are really sharp.

I can't say enough. This group gels with each other and their audience. The talent in this group is amazing! Song selection spans across any genre gaps. I believe their hearts are real and in the right place. Having the opportunity to be friends with Donny has been a real blessing and I wish him and this group all Gods best.

book them book them book them!
