Michael Frost of southern gospel trio, The Frosts, has been cast in "The Miracle," a brand new musical production to begin this spring at The Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The Miracle (Produced by Fee Hedrick Family Entertainment Group; Written by Linda Nell Cooper; Composed by David M. Legg) is a musical recreation of the life of Christ. The production takes audiences on a journey from Creation to the Birth of Christ, to the Crucifixion and Ascension. The show features a large cast of actors, singers, dancers, technicians and live animals. A state-of-the-art set, surround sound, digital 3-D video and special effects will enhance each performance.
Frost was among hundreds to audition for roles in the brand new production. He has been cast as the Apostle John. "I am extremely excited about this opportunity. From what I've seen and heard so far, I believe this will be one of the most inspiring and spectacular productions in the country," Frost said.
The Miracle Theater, formerly the Louise Mandrell Theater, is one of the largest faith-based venues in the United States. It is also the home of The Triumphant Quartet. The Frosts, which includes Michael, Candie Frost and Crystal Johnson, will continue to perform selected dates in 2006.
