HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.—Popular sister duo, The McRaes claimed the number one position on the Singing News National Radio Chart in December 2004 with their hit song “If It Had Not Been The Lord.” Annie and Kelly along with numerous friends and family gathered in Hendersonville, Tennessee this week for a celebration in honor of the career benchmark. The single marks the first number one for the group. “If It Had Not Been The Lord” was written by Annie and features the vocals of the sisters, along with Joyce Martin. The number one song is included on the McRaes debut Daywind release, Traveling On.
“If It Had Not Been The Lord” reached the number one position on the heels of the McRae’s announcing the formation of McRae Ministries and their plans to tour as a part of Crabb Jam ’05 with the Crabb Family, Mike Bowling and Crossway.
Traveling On is available in stores nationwide where music is sold and distributed by New Day Christian Distributors and Word Entertainment.
