I really enjoy the New Plainsmen. A friend of mine who passed away last year would play 'If You Could See Where I Am You Wouldnt Cry" every morning on WLAF radio. I sure do thank the NP guys for cutting that song.

Hey guys- I am really excited to have New Plainsmen here- They have always been great friends of mine. I promoted for James Sparks, back in 1991/92 when I was radio promoter for Mark 5 Records. We had Perfect Heart,Anchormen,Singing Americans,Martins, and Crystal River a band James sang with. A song entitled "In Spite of It All" Michael English brother Biney wrote-What good memories, I lived in a government apartment, drove a yellow Maverick, with the doors tied closed with a close hanger, it finally burned up and I pushed it off I-85, and left it for junk. I always brought my daughter to work with me she was just one year old and I made her a crib out of the file cabinet in my office. man I was hungry- we were starting to happen at the label, but I SHO WAS HUNGRY grin

The New Plainsmen bring back good memories of the music that I grew up on. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Praise music is bad, but it doesn't have the feel that good ole southern gospel music has! This group has great talent. My 11 yr. old son loves to listen to them too. Also, I have heard the Luther Vandross song, and it's a great song!
