Love Is A Precious Gift

Happy Valentines day to you all

So many things we could talk about this month, but I’ll be nice. I hope you enjoyed the article last month; God is so good to us. As I was sitting in church this last Sunday, our preacher was talking about “Grace”. The Lord spoke to my heart so quietly and peaceful, “this is what my love is all about, Grace”. I know that we have heard this over and over and over, but sometimes we just don’t get it. God has given us a simple plan to follow, yet we make it so hard.

Love is a precious gift that means so much to us all. We use this word for many things that we like or things that we want. This month as we are thinking about what we’re going to do special for that one that we Love, to show our feelings for them, let us remember what a precious gift it is to have that special someone that loves you in the good times and the bad.
Let us remember the giver of this gift of love, the one who gave the most and accepts less than what we give back most of the time.

When you are walking through this month of love, remember what God says love is…
The number one gifts of the spirit…. Gal: 5:22 and I Corinthians 13: 4-7… love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful, proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.

Keep this in mind as you go through this month. Love is a wonderful thing, don’t misuse or abuse it. Keep it safe and protect it for it is the most precious thing you have in this life.

So grab your honey bunny and give them a great big kiss and tell them how much you love them and you are so glad they are in your life.
