Karen Peck And New River In The Studio

(Brand New Project Slated For Release This August)

Hendersonville, TN (June 17, 2009) - GRAMMY® and Dove nominated Daywind Records’ artist, Karen Peck And New River, is back in the studio working on their soon to be released new recording. The recording includes some of the most moving and powerful songs ever recorded by the group. The yet to be titled CD will release in August. It is being produced by GRAMMY® award winning producer, Mark Fain.

Karen Peck Gooch, along with the rest of New River, is very excited about the upcoming release. She shared the following; “This album is a dream come true for KPNR. It is very acoustically driven. What started off as a small "special" project turned into a full-blown Daywind Records production. Mark Fain really captured the sound we wanted to hear and to convey. We had so many special and anointed moments in the studio. We pray everyone will love this album as much as we loved recording it."

Along with their GRAMMY® and Dove nominations, the group continues to see great success across the country at radio. They have recently celebrated their 5th consecutive #1 song in Southern Gospel music.

Daywind Records is based in Hendersonville, TN, and is distributed worldwide through New Day Christian Distributors. In addition to Karen Peck And New River, Daywind is home to such great artists as Greater Vision and the Booth Brothers, among others.
